MIDDLESBROUGH and Preston North End have led the Football League tributes to England World Cup winner Nobby Stiles.
The 78-year-old died on Friday after a long illness. He had suffered from prostate cancer and advanced dementia.
Although most famous for his achievements with Manchester United and England, Stiles also played for Middlesbrough and Preston and managed Preston, Vancouver Whitecaps and West Brom.
