GEORGE Tanner scored his first-ever goal in Carlisle’s 3-1 midweek win over Morecambe, but his delight was tinged with sadness that no fans were present to witness it.
The 20-year-old defender, who joined the Cumbrians in the summer following his release by Manchester United, popped up late on to secure victory over the Shrimps.
