BLACKPOOL goalkeeper Chris Maxwell admits the Seasiders need to improve at both ends of the pitch.
Neil Critchley’s side have struggled to string together consistent results at the start of the season.
“We need to look at ourselves, and be more clinical. We need to improve in the defensive third at times,” Maxwell, 30, said.
“There is no question for me about the workrate and the desire within this squad, but unfortunately in professional football that isn’t enough at times.”
