WOODY GLAD TO RECEIVE GIBSON’S BACKING

CHAMPIONSHIP
MIDDLESBROUGH manager Jonathan Woodgate has thanked chairman Steve Gibson for his “unbelievable” support during a tough first season in charge.
Boro, a Premier League side three years ago, are battling to beat the drop to League One.
Gibson threw his backing behind Woodgate in an interview with Teesside Live last week, saying the former Leeds, Boro and England defender had his support “no matter what”.
