EXETER are working to secure a new shirt sponsor following the demise of long-term partner Flybe.
The Exeter-based airline announced that it had gone into administration on Thursday.
Flybe had served as Exeter’s shirt sponsor since 2003, which the club claims to be the longest- established sponsorship deal in football.
“This news is not unexpected and with the contract due to expire, our commercial team have been exploring all the opportunities”, read a joint statement from chairman Julian Tagg and supporters’ trust counterpart Nick Hawker.
