OXFORD boss Karl Robinson has explained his reasons for recalling young defender Rob Atkinson from Eastleigh.
The 21-year-old centre- back joined Oxford on a permanent deal from the Spitfires in January, but was loaned back to the National League side for the remainder of the season.
That has now been cut short, and Robinson said: “Rob has done well in training. With John Mousinho injured, we have Rob Dickie one yellow card away from a suspension.”
