MARINERS’ FENTY TO STEP BACK

GRIMSBY majority shareholder John Fenty is to reduce his role at the League Two club.
Fenty has pledged to continue his financial support for the Mariners and will still attend the occasional board meeting.
But he says his position as deputy leader for North East Lincolnshire Council has impacted upon his role at Blundell Park.
