STRIKER Sean Maguire has the backing of Preston North End boss Alex Neil as he looks to get back on the goal trail.
Ahead of yesterday’s trip to Fulham, the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international had scored just four times so far this season, with his last coming in December.
Maguire has been in regular contact with Neil throughout his barren spell and is confident he will be back on the scoresheet before too long.
“I know when I have a good and bad game, I don’t need anyone else to tell me really,” he said.
