BLACKBURN midfielder Lewis Holtby is not expected to play again before the end of the season.
The 29-year-old faces 12 weeks on the sidelines with a lateral ligament injury.
Holtby, a former Germany international, suffered the problem in the recent game with Middlesbrough.
Rovers boss Tony Mowbray said: “Lewis is finished for the season I think, unless we make the play-offs.
“If we make the playoffs then he might have a chance of playing, but he’ll be unavailable for the next 12 weeks. So it’s not good news on Lewis.” ...
