BAKER IS A REAL COUP FOR FLYNN

NEWPORT boss Michael Flynn hailed the capture of Sheffield Wednesday full-back Ashley Baker as a “very important signing” due to his performances at a higher level.
The 23-year-old defender, a former Cardiff youth player, has agreed an 18-month deal with County, tying him to the club until the end of the 2020-21 season.
Baker played 12 times for Wednesday in the Championship and Flynn was thrilled to bring him back to Wales.
