AFC Wimbledon striker Kwesi Appiah could be out of action for eight weeks after suffering an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old forward was injured in training and suffered ligament damage. Dons physio Stuart Douglas said: “He went to head a ball and landed awkwardly, rolling an ankle, which is very common in football.
“He has damaged the outside of an ankle, which is the anterior talofibular ligament. He injured his deltoid ligament, too.”
