MURRAY’S MINTED AT OAKWELL

CHAMPIONSHIP
ADAM Murray has been promoted to the role of first team coach at Barnsley alongside new boss Gerhard Struber.
Murray, who took caretaker charge for five matches after Daniel Stendel’s departure, has stepped up from his role as under-18s coach, with former assistant Dale Tonge leaving the club.
Tonge, a former Barnsley player, stepped into the coaching role in February and helped the club to promotion from League One last season alongside Stendel.
Matt Rose and Max Senft were confirmed as part of Struber’s coaching staff last week.
