FORMER Derby County captain Richard Keogh has had his appeal against his sacking rejected by the club.
The Rams terminated the contract of the 33-yearold two years early, in October, after he was involved in a car crash that resulted in team-mates Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett being convicted of drink-driving.
Lawrence and Bennett were both banned from driving for two years but remain at the club, who fined them each six weeks’ wages.
