NEW Stoke boss Michael O’Neill already knows he needs to down-size his squad.
The 50-year-old Northern Irishman joked there was no more room in the Potters’ changing room to make new signings after the late win over Wigan.
And O’Neill is ready to trim the size of his group in the next transfer window.
He said: “There’s no benefit in sitting in the stands.
“Every player in this club, I want to see his career progress whether it’s at Stoke or elsewhere. I’m not going to be holding players back.
