QPR’s last two home performances have probably made the club’s supporters re-evaluate their ambitions for the season.
They were fortunate to draw with an impressive Reading a fortnight ago and last Monday they were well beaten by a fast-improving Brentford.
Rangers would have gone second in the Championship with a win over their west London rivals but never really looked like achieving that feat.
That’s not a complete surprise when you consider the quality players that Brentford brought in during the summer.
