JONES: SLUGA CRITICS ARE TOO HARSH

LUTON boss Graeme Jones has backed keeper Simon Sluga to come good after the Croatian endured a shaky start to life in the Championship.
Summer signing Sluga, 26, has made a couple of mistakes early on in his stint with the Hatters – letting in a soft goal against Middlesbrough on the opening day of the season and conceding possession in the build-up to Sheffield Wednesday’s solitary strike in last week’s 1-0 defeat.
But he has been backed by his club manager, who feels the criticism his goalkeeper has received has been unwarranted.
