AN EARLY RETURN FOR COX

LEAGUE TWO
GEORGE COX is expected to be back in action by the end of the month, according to Northampton manager Keith Curle. The 21-year-old leftback, on loan with the Cobblers from Brighton, suffered ankle ligament damage in January and it was feared he may be out for the rest of the season.
However, Curle said: “George has seen a specialist in London and from the two options he had they’ve gone for the shorter option which is good news.
“He’s probably going to spend two weeks back at Brighton now and then he’ll hopefully be back up with us.”
