CARLISLE new-boy Stefan Scougall felt he adapted well to an unfamiliar role in the clash with MK Dons.
The 26-year-old midfieler scored a first professional penalty in the 3-2 defeat last week and earned the man-ofthe- match award.
He said: “I’ve not really played as a false nine or striker much in my career, so it was a new experience for me, but I took it in my stride.
“It was fantastic to find out I was starting. We’ve had a couple of injuries and Dev (Jamie Devitt) was suspended, but I was delighted when I got the call.”
