MANSFIELD manager David Flitcroft has spoken of his delight at keeping CJ Hamilton at the club.
The highly-rated winger, 23, was reportedly a transfer target for a number of clubs during the January window.
He was happy to stay with the Stags, and boss Flitcroft said: “CJ epitomises what a footballer should be. He always learns and wants more. He’s phenomenal as a person and I love working with him. He’s in a good place.
“He’s been an unbelievable professional and the right things will come to him.”
