MIDDLESBROUGH became another Rodney Parade victim this week and Manchester City will most certainly note that Tottenham only escaped the curse last year by the skin of their teeth.
Much has been made of the difficult surface and the hostile crowd.
There is no doubt that it is very tough to play incisive football on the pitch and the crowd is fantastically passionate.
As manager Michael Flynn noted this week, his team knows how to play the pitch. There are plenty of great lads at Newport, some of whom I signed.
