DARRAGH MacAnthony was a huge fan of Steve Evans, so much that he even paid compensation to bring him to Peterborough.
So to see him sacked after just 11 months later came as a big surprise. The Scot has struggled for consistency. The Posh won five out of five in August but haven’t managed back-toback victories since. It’s been a constant pattern of win-drawloss. Now it’s one win in seven.
But when you consider that Steve turned over 18 players in the summer, maybe that shouldn’t be a surprise.
