HULL head coach Nigel Adkins has revealed that a deal to sign defender Matthew Connolly on loan from Cardiff looks to be off.
The 31-year-old defender was expected to tie up a move to the KCOM Stadium this week, but Adkins said: “As it stands, it’s not happening.
“We’ll see what happens during the course of the transfer window. He’s back in Cardiff at the moment. It was not a money issue.”
