YOUNG defender Adam Crookes has swapped a place on the periphery at leaders Lincoln City for what he hopes to be regular game time at Port Vale after signing on loan for the Valiants.
Crookes’ loan deal at Sincil Bank was curtailed by parent club Nottingham Forest last week after the 21-year-old barely featured for the Imps. Now he is looking at making an impression with Neil Aspin’s side.
