GARY Madine was “dying to make the move happen” after learning of Sheffield United’s interest in signing him.
The 28-year-old striker, who had scored 10 goals for Bolton last season before moving to Cardiff City in January 2018, will spend the rest of the campaign on loan with the Blades.
“There were other teams interested but, believe it or not, when I knew Sheffield United were interested in me I was buzzing and jumped at the chance,” said Madine.
