NIGELAdkins has admitted it will be a “blow” to lose Jackson Irvine after his recent impact.
The Australian, 25, hit both goals in the 2-1 win over Preston on Boxing Day, but will now miss around a month after being called into the Socceroos squad to play in the Asian Cup.

He is set to miss at least four matches after playing a key role in a run of three straight wins before his departure, and Adkins knows his team will miss the midfielder.
