OXFORD teenager Fabio Lopes has been backed to have a “very bright future” in the game after agreeing his first professional contract.
The 17-year-old striker, who made his first-team debut earlier this season, is the latest U’s youngster to commit himself to the club after agreeing a twoand- a-half-year deal.
Leon Blackmore-Such, Oxford’s youth-team coach, said: “Fabio is another outstanding young footballer. He works hard every game, he makes things happen for those around him as well as scoring a fair few goals.
