PORTSMOUTH skipper Gareth Evans is hoping to hit his goal target by the end of the season.
Eight-goal Evans, 30, and winger Jamal Lowe, 24, are battling it out to be Pompey’s top scorer.
Evans said: “You always set yourself a target at the start of the season and, hopefully, I can reach that. I have been striking the ball quite well and that’s something I do work on a lot out on the training pitch.”
