JUNIOR Mondal is “buzzing” after landing an 18-month deal at Forest Green.
The 21-year-old striker had scored eight goals in 23 games for Whitby Town this season and has now been snapped up by Mark Cooper.
Mondal will be eligible to play for Rovers from January 2, but Cooper will take his time before blooding the forward.
“He’s lightning quick and although he’s probably not one that is ready to go and start a game in the first team, he’ll add to an excellent, young group of players.”
