COLCHESTER forward Luke Norris visited a specialist to determine the extent of the ankle injury he suffered against Swindon.
Norris, 25, went down just before half-time and was taken off on a stretcher before going to hospital.
Colchester physio Tony Flynn confirmed that while X-rays revealed no fractures around the joint, more examination was needed to reveal a full prognosis.
“The scan should tell us exactly what damage there is,” Flynn said.
“There is no knowing what the timescale will be for Luke’s recovery.”
