JON Stead says Notts County’s squad are buying into manager Harry Kewell’s philosophy as they look to improve.
The Magpies lurched from three league wins in a week to three straight defeats ahead of the trip to Port Vale.
Striker Stead, 35, said: “The gaffer wants us to play a certain way and we all have to live and breathe his style.
“Training is at a high standard and we are keeping our heads up because we have enjoyed excellent spells in games.
“We feel the improvement is coming, so now we just need to turn it into results.”
