INJURIES HITTING AT PRESTON

CHAMPIONSHIP
ALEX Neil has pointed to the loss of strikers Sean Maguire and Billy Bodin as the main factor in Preston’s poor start to the Championship season.
Maguire, 24, is closing in on a return from a hamstring injury, but Bodin, 26, remains sidelined for the long-term with a knee ligament problem.
Preston boss Neil said: “The fact we’ve been looking for a striker for the best part of a year, then we lose two of our front three before the season starts, it is always difficult to replace them for a club like us.
