SMITH TO CARRY ON COACHING

CRAWLEY director of football Selim Gaygusuz expects Jimmy Smith to take his chance in coaching with both hands.
Midfielder Smith, 31, is currently sidelined with a long-term knee injury and was charged with preparing the team to face Lincoln last weekend alongside Filipe Morais.
Gaygusuz has confirmed Smith will stay on the coaching staff under new boss Gabriele Cioffi for the duration of his absence.
He said: “He’s keen to progress his coaching career and this will give him an opportunity to have regular involvement around the team.”
