CREWE manager David Artell expects midfielder Paul Green to be out for the season with a knee injury.
The 35-year-old suffered the problem in Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Carlisle.
Artell said: “We expect Paul to be out long-term.
“It was thought he had broken his leg but that’s not the case. We expect him to be out for the season. That’s the fear.
“We’re still speculating until we have (scan) results back, but that’s what we believe.
