CHESTERFIELD manager Jack Lester has warned goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale he could lose his No.1 spot following Joe Anyon’s return to fitness.
England Under-19 international Ramsdale has been a mainstay between the sticks for Chesterfield following his arrival on loan from Bournemouth in January after Anyon, 31, broke his arm.
Ramsdale has impressed at the Proact Stadium but Lester has warned the 19-year-old not to rest on his laurels.
He said: “Rammers knows he’ll need to be on his toes or he’ll lose his place. Rammers will push Joe as well.”
