RAMS PRAYING BIG CLASH CAN TURN THE TIDE

A COUPLE of months ago, Derby boss Gary Rowett saw his side coast to a 3-0 victory at his former club Birmingham City and life seemed mighty fine.
The Rams were second in the table, albeit ten points behind runaway leaders Wolves, and looked set to challenge for automatic promotion.
Fast forward a couple of months and the picture doesn’t look so bright. A run of one win in nine games has seen Derby slip to fifth in the table and the prospect of going straight up appears to be over.
