GILLINGHAM have been working on being quicker out of the blocks, according to midfielder Max Ehmer.
The Gills are secure in mid-table, but slow starts have cost them dearly of late, as they dropped points against Walsall,
Shrewsbury and Bury.
But German-born Ehmer revealed manager Steve Lovell had been working on cutting out sluggishness during an enforced two-week break
“When we start right, we are a very good team,” said the 26-year-old.
“We haven’t been doing that in the last couple of games and it’s something we’re working on.”
