RYAN McGowan is set for a spell on the sidelines after undergoing knee surgery this week.
The Australian international defender, 28, joined Bradford from UAE-based Al-Sharjah in January, but after just three games he will now be out for the foreseeable future.
The Bantams tweeted: “The operation was successful and we will know more about when he is likely to return to play over the coming days.”
