LIAM Mandeville admits travelling south for a loan spell at Colchester will present a fresh challenge.
The 20-year-old forward revealed he very rarely ventures outside the north, unless it’s for an away match, but is revelling in the opportunity to aid the Colchester cause after joining from Doncaster Rovers on loan.
He said: “This is the first real time I have been away from Doncaster, except for a one-month loan at Whitby Town when I was 18.
