NOLAN’S MESSAGE FOR HIS MAGPIES

HIGH-FLYING Notts County are ready for teams looking to knock the Magpies off their perch, according to manager Kevin Nolan.
The Magpies were beaten 2-0 by Crewe on Tuesday and saw Luton Town leapfrog them to the top of the League Two table.
The defeat was their third in the league, but it doesn’t take the gloss off what has been an excellent start for Notts.
Nolan expects opposition teams to continue to step up their own performances when County hit the road in the coming weeks.
