OLIVER’S ODD TWIST OF FATE

HE MAY have been suspended but Morecambe striker Vadaine Oliver claims his time in the stands was timely after picking up an injury.
Oliver, 25, was sent off in Morecambe’s derby match against Accrington earlier this month but the three-match ban did give him time to get fully fit.
Oliver said: “It’s been very frustrating, although on the other hand it may have been a blessing in disguise because I had a bit of an ankle problem I was struggling to shake off.
