RED-FACED JOE GETS WARNE-ING

PAUL Warne has told defender Joe Mattock that his Rotherham place is under threat after his sending off in the 1-0 loss at Bradford last week.
The 27-year-old left-back was given his marching orders for a second yellow, and missed yesterday’s clash with Oldham, with Ben Purrington earning an opportunity instead to stake a claim for a starting role on a permanent basis.
Warne said: “He will now lose his jersey to Ben. If Ben performs well, he will keep it.
