LEEDS fans have every right to be bitterly disappointed.
To have occupied a play-off place since November only to stumble at the death is a savage blow that does no justice to the efforts of Garry Monk and his players.
Written off as a joke in August, they have brought pride and fight back to Elland Road for the first time in a decade – qualities vividly demonstrated in an uproarious second half.
Nothing will make up for a lost play-off spot, but at least those battling efforts allowed Leeds’ players to return for their post-match...
