STAGS GET TRAINING SITE LIFT

MANSFIELD boss Steve Evans says the club’s prospective new training centre will be wonderful for the town.
Planning permission was granted earlier this week on the multi-purpose sports complex.
It will include three fullsized pitches, a 3G floodlit full-size pitch and a main pavilion.
“It’s wonderful for the football club. The club is such a major part of the community of Mansfield and such a major part of the town,” said Evans.
“Let’s hope it produces one or two Stags youngsters that might end up playing in the Premier League.”
