EFL clubs eye Cup draw
A host of League One and Two clubs are praying for a tie with a football giant in the FA Cup third round after winning through yesterday.
Fourth tier basement boys Hartlepool put their league woes to one side to beat Harrogate 3-1, while Oxford thumped Exeter 4-1.
Colby Bishop netted twice from the spot as Portsmouth edged out MK Dons 3-2 and Michael Smith struck a late double as Sheffield Wednesday came from
behind to beat Mansfield. Otis Khan was Grimsby's two-goal hero as they won 2-1 at higher level Cambridge. Stockport grabbed a last-gasp equaliser to draw 2-2 at Charlton, while Scott Kashket's injury time goal saved Gillingham at Dagenham. AFC Wimbledon were dumped out 2-0 by National League Chesterfield.
The third round draw takes place on BBC 2 from 7pm tomorrow night.
