WYCOMBE maintained their five-point lead at the top of the table with a goalless draw at second-placed Ipswich – but it could have been more.
Defender Joe Jacobson – who had netted an injury- time penalty winner against Doncaster at the weekend - had the chance to win the game for the Chairboys in the 87th minute, but saw his spot-kick saved by Blues keeper Tomas Holy.
Ipswich thought they had taken the lead just before the break when skipper Luke Chambers headed home, but the goal was controversially ruled out for offside.
