MORECAMBEboss Jim Bentley is determined to bolster his squad before the transfer window shuts.
The Shrimps have already let midfielder Elliot Osborne, 21, and striker Rhys Turner, 22, go in January. The former ended his loan from Fleetwood while Turner went on-loan to Stockport and Bentley knows he needs to act fast.
He said: “We want to bring someone in and we have released some funds through Elliot Osborne and Rhys Turner both leaving the club.
“We are working on things, but it’s hard to compete with teams below, never mind those above.”
