Simon Hallett’s Plymouth Argyle set for Capital boost

Plymouth Argyle owner Simon Hallett believes imminent new investors can help build on the club’s success over recent years.
The Pilgrims have climbed from League Two to the Championship over the past five years, though do look as though they will drop back down to League One this term.
Hallett has been Argyle’s majority shareholder since 2018, but believes extra backing is needed for the Devon club to prosper.
“For the past six years, I have spoken about how my resources could get us to the Championship but not beyond,” he told the club’s supporters in a statement.
