LEEDS may be destined for the Premier League, but even the mighty Whites will find staying there practically impossible.
For the second year in succession, it appears that all three promoted clubs are destined to come straight back down.
Prior to last season, this had happened only once in the history of the Premier League. Dig deeper, and things get grimmer. Last year, Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United averaged 22 points, or 0.57 per game. That’s the lowest combined total of any three promoted sides since the 1992 rebrand.
