EXIT: Nigel Adkins has left his role as Tranmere boss

TRANMERE Rovers are searching for a new manager to keep them in the EFL after Nigel Adkins stepped down ‘by mutual agreement’.
Former Preston and Plymouth manager Ryan Lowe, 46, a former Rovers striker, has been tipped to take over, while coach Andy Crosby has the first chance to stake a claim having stepped up to take interim charge.
His first match at the helm was against his former club Port Vale yesterday.
Whoever gets the nod has work to do with Rovers heading into the weekend in...
