EDGE: Vinnie Jones

YOU can’t always believe reputations in football.
Perhaps the best example is Vinnie Jones, who I played with at Leeds.
Vinnie was renowned for his tackling and his aggression, and we all know how many red cards he picked up over his career.
When people talk about football hard-men, he’s always one of the first names that comes up.
But it was all an act, really. Offthe pitch, he was genuinely one of the nicest, most thoughtful people you could ever meet.
